I have been to Ireland a couple times years ago, but they were just quick stops
and I really wanted to spend more time to learn about some of my heritage.
So this past summer, I flew into the Shannon area and drove across Ireland
into Dublin, where I flew out of. Driving across the amazing countrysides was much better
than rushing through your travel days and gave me much more time to take it all in.
I took three cameras and they definitely went to use in this beautiful country.
I stayed at quaint B and B's along the way, where I met such kind and inviting locals.
I recommend this way of traveling to everyone; it really allows for freedom and exploration.
Though be wary of driving on the otherside of the road! Which to make matters worse is often on a tiny one-lane road
along the edge of a mountain! |
