London, as the capital of England, is one of the leading business, financial, and cultural centres of the world. And as a self-professed city girl, London feels like my home away from home. Everytime I travel there, I feel at ease and ready to go out and explore. Restaurants, clubs, shopping, and gorgeous parks are abound throughout the city.

During my most recent trip there, in July of 2005, the unfortunate terrorist planned train bombings took place. After 9/11, many people were afraid to travel, but it is clear these disturbing events can take place anywhere you go. To me, it seems silly to let your fears of these types of incidents hold you back from exploring the world. I still will travel all over the world and return to London many times. I hope to actually spend a couple years of my life living there at some point.
