I have spent a couple days in Paris here and there over the years but I did not really fall in love with it until I studied abroad there. Last summer, I attended Parson's New School for Design's Paris program taking part in a master class with award winning photojurnalist Peter Turnley. Instead of just cramming tons of touristy things in a couple days, I actually got to experience what it is like to live in Paris.

I took hundreds and hundreds of photographs, taking everything in while I was there. I met the most amazing Parisians, experienced the World Cup fiasco, studied under an amazing Photographer, and even picked up a litte French. This trip was special to me because, unlike all the rest where I was just able to see new things,while in Paris, I could be a part of new things.
