The DuSable Museum offers Saturday morning informational classes to elementary-aged children (k-6) in regards to different historical issues surrounding the African-American community.

In effort to encourage youth exploration and understanding of influential leaders and events in our history, the Dusable museum, offers the "Exploration Program."  This program provides incentives for students to create reports, programs, flyers, and presentations....about their subject of choice.  There research is presented to other members of the group as well as DuSable staff.
