Professional philosophy:

I feel it is imperative that individuals learn to work and achieve goals according to their abilities. Each person is a solitary being and the author of their life. The way a person learns is unique. One can improve their behavior and personal growth outcomes if given proper resources and encouragement. I feel two major parts of therapy include  the client's achievement motivation and a therapeutic counseling  relationship.

Favorite Theorists:

The theorists I find most helpful are Erik Erikson and Alfred Adler. Erikson’s eight stages of psychosocial development assist in determining the client’s foundation in order to build a strong future. I can relate my theory to Adler’s theory of social development where a person strives to achieve goals based on their view of the world as well as their past experiences.
