I was born on July 25, 1988 in Dallas, Texas. Because was attending school at Texas Tech University, I lived with my grandparents for about seven years. In the 2nd grade, I moved with my father and stepmother to Woodbridge, VA. After staying in Virginia for two years, we moved to Plano, Texas, which is a suburb of Dallas.
I lived in Plano for a total of eight years; the longest that I had been in one place. While living with my grandparents, we had moved on average about once every three years. Plano was a quiet town, with the slogan "An All-America City". Because it has one of the fastest growing home markets in the country, Plano essentially was the perfect place to raise your 2.5 kids in a picket fence home. My high school had a winning football team, and I graduated in the top quarter of my class. My senior year, I applied to DePaul University, and come that April, I was accepted.
value a lot of things in life. I value happiness; I believe that happiness is what you make it out to be and that we are all in control of our emotions, above all else. Happiness is in the eye of the beholder, and someone can only take it from you if you let them. I believe in love, and that love drives all things. Although there are different kinds of love, no one love is greater than the others; it is just felt differently.
I love children. I have a two month old sister and a brother who is three, and they are two of my favorite people on this planet. The way they see life is so fresh and exciting that it makes me excited just to watch them. I hope that as they grow older they will never lose their wonder for the world and what it holds.
