Portable Devices

Assistive technology is usually add-on technology used by a person with a disability to improve functional performance. Portable devices are one type of assistive technology that facilitates learning for students with special needs. Portable devices play an important role in academic performance for these persons with disabilities. Three types of portable devices are: laptops, PDA's, and portable keyboards.
