Ice Skating in Millennium Park

Park location: McCormic Tribune Plaza and Ice Rink

The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park will open for the 2006-07 season on Wednesday, November 15 and will remain open through March 18, 2007, weather permitting. This is the sixth skating season for the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink, which originally opened in December 2001. The popular rink draws more than 100,000 skaters annually.

The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink is free and open to the public. Skate rental is available for $7. The ice rink is located on Michigan Avenue between Washington and Madison Streets. Parking is available at the Millennium Park Garage or the Grant Park North Garage.

The rink is open daily from 10am until 10pm, although it may occasionally close at 8pm for private events. The public is encouraged to call 312-742-5222 to confirm the rink's closing time or for more information about private rentals.

Please note the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink will be closed during these scheduled dates and times:
