DePaul City Mix started 3 years ago when 3 college juniors felt the need for a personal website that could serve the DePaul community. The objective is to provide DePaul student with recreational activities in the heart of its campus and give them the 411 on what's going on in the city and the close by neighborhoods. They found that there was no other service that provides DePaul Students, with info on recreational activities with in LP without the hassle of looking dozens of websites. They also felt that it would help freshmen and transfer students become more familiar with the area and city.

The concerns it addresses are common college student inquiries such as best delivery food, bars with cheapest specials etc among other city activities and events. The service minimized searches since it is specifically targeted for DePaul students. Since it is created by DePaul students it automatically, gains a degree of credibility as it is. Other features that will be communicated will be things like experience through testimonials ratings etc.
