Update: I decided to do some spring cleaning on here before spring is officially over. In other words, I removed/revised a lot of stuff. Expect an actual update to this site when I decide to do actual spring cleaning in my apartment.

Update: Today, your mission is to visit the Life section. I have updated it with an image of my very first piece of fan mail!

Update: Since I updated last, I added a little motion blur to the "no exclamation mark" Antihype logo/background just because I think it looks better.

Update: I finally figured out something to do with the Life section. I did not want to get too detailed a la my old site or like a weblog entry, but I wanted to have something there related to my life. I decided that the Life section will offer a small glimpse into my life and nothing more.

Update: Well a lot has happened since I last updated. I have not really done anything with the site, unfortunately. Browser compatability is still the same, though the bottom menu problem was fixed. In this update, I have added a few things to the bio, web design, and links sections. Denny's new website and forum have put me in the mood to do things on the web, so I am sure I will do something in the near future, I am just not sure what. I do have to do something with all the money I just won at the track. Go Cubs, Sox, Bears. See you next update.

Update: The site is now pretty much perfect in IE 6, Netscape 7, and Opera 7. It is also optimized to look tolerable in Netscape 4, though there is one bug that I have just noticed due to the fact that the browser gets confused by the counter. This then throws off the placement of the bottom menu. I will hopefully have this fixed by the next update. I still have to test it in IE 5 and on the Mac as well. IE 5 will probably come within the next few days and the Mac test will happen this weekend some point when I am at home for my brother's birthday. As for linux, thanks to Brian here at DePaul, I now know that the site looks great in Mozilla, but in Konqueror it is slightly off due to the fact that it apparently ignores the "word-spacing" attribute. I think the Konqueror users are just going to have to deal with that one unless anyone can come up with a solution (I am not going to set the positions separately for each image in the menus).

In other news, this website is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, but not valid CSS due to the fact that I use several CSS hacks that assign "x" and "y" to "top" and "left." This is done to make top and bottom menus as well as the color on the side (the side is actually a "div" and not the background- it was the only way it could be achieved) fixed, since current browsers have a flawed implementation of the "position: fixed" attribute. In a perfect world I could have perfect CSS, but alas the browser world is not yet perfect.

Anyway you are probably getting tired of reading technical stuff about the website, so I will stop. Before too long these types of updates will be replaced by more entertaining stuff such as updates of the Life section. I just have to make it to next Wednesday; the last day of finals. If you have not yet, check out all the sections, including the ones all the way to the right. The only incomplete section is Life, because I have not written anything for it yet.

Update: Welcome to Antihype version 3.0. Hopefully I will update this one a lot more often than version 2.0, though I did update that one pretty regularly for a while. I am still working out some of the bugs, but pretty much everything should work. The main bug that I notice right now is that the counter disappears when you scroll in Opera, which was a problem with the bottom links as well at first while i was doing compatability testing. The reason this one is not fixed yet is because I added the counter at the end of my work on the page and have not bothered to fix it yet. I think the Opera users can wait. I have not tested the site in IE 5.x yet, but I will do so soon. I am guessing that the only problem in there, if any, is that the last top and bottom links end up on a second line. I will probably go to the library here soon to test that. Other than that, the site is pretty much finished. I hope you like it! Email or IM me with any suggestions.
